Captain Tristan Am I PDF Print Email

Out there in the blue, on the horizon, at sea.
There lives a great Pirate, Captain Tristan is he.
And he pilots a ship so outrageously grand,
That we can’t find its equal anywhere in the land.

Now he’s fair and he’s pure as any pirate can be.
And he’s strong and he’s proud, as we all plainly see.
And there’s no butts about it, he is terribly good.
For he gets what he wants, and he thinks that he should.

And he’s right don’t you know, it’s as plain as the day,
As the nose on your face, gives your smile clean way.
And the grin on your chin leaves us no doubt at all.
That this tall tail of pirates is no tall tail at all.

For Captain Tristan you see sails upon seven seas,
Visits exotic far lands, where the children are free.
Gives away all the spoils to all you girls and all boys,
No matter what you have done, says it's all just for fun.

But now wouldn’t you know it and isn’t it sad.
How the greebly Greeb Grommels point their fingers and wag?
”Tristan shame on you’re sass.” “Tristan don’t be so brash.”
”You’ll get into a clash if you hoist pirate mast.”

But Captain Tristan just laughs, trims his sails and flies past.
Raises arm in the air as he proudly declares.
”I am spoiled, I am rotten and I get what it’s for.”
”We shall not live in drudgery. We shall sail to far shores.”

”And we’ll dance and bring laughter as our hope prevails.”
”Say goodbye to the darkness, and old scary tails.”

So now sprinkle some gold dust.

Come fly away home.

“Captain Tristan” am I,
From my toes to my dome.
